Send us your ideas for an International Climate Day event in the Real Far North!
The following flyer has come through from Transition Town, Kerikeri. Meanwhile, what will we doing for International Climate Day up here? Suggestions so far include a bike rally or beach ramble. Does anyone have a bright idea on marking the day and sending the message to our fearless leaders that Climate Change is an issue that needs to be seriously addressed?

Climate Festival Workshop Meeting
This Thursday, 1 October, 7pm, Union Church.
Transition Kerikeri is organizing a Climate Festival in Kerikeri as part of the International Climate Day on Saturday the 24th October. This Climate Day is being coordinated by 350.org.
The main goal of the Climate Day is to send a clear message to the policy makers to take bold action at Copenhagen in December: “Reduce CO2 concentration in the atmosphere below the dangerous threshold of 350 ppm”.
Join in on the workshop meeting this Thursday, bring your ideas and enthusiasm and help Kerikeri raise its voice on Climate Change!
