Whangaroa networking/information sharing day: 27 June

There are so many good things happening in the Whangaroa area when it comes to looking after our natural environment.

If you are interested in finding out what others are doing/ sharing what you are up to, or would like to access specific information relating to any of the following come along to the Kaeo Rugby Club on Sunday 27th June.

  • Animal pest and weed management, including different traps, how to set them, and where to get them from
  • Restoration planting
  • Hunting, fur opportunities
  • Working with your neighbours … how to set up a landcare group
  • Funding opportunities
  • Applying for cultural materials or a concession on conservation land
  • Resource consent matters
  • Kiwi care
  • Sign up for kiwi aversion training

Where: Kaeo Rugby Club

When: Sunday 27th June 11am – 2.30pm

Programme:

Morning: There will be an opportunity for groups or individuals to give a brief overview of what they are doing

Lunch provided

Afternoon: Access information from various agencies/groups. Displays welcome.

Activities for children including the possum shy.

Spot prizes

The bar will be open
